## Duties of office, and qualifications required for their performance.
To attend to the manufacture of Pharmaceutical preparations and the general dispensing work of the Hospital and in the absence of the Apothecary and Analyst to take charge and have sole control of the Hospital Pharmacy and Government Laboratory, must hold a major diploma and be a member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain and produce testimonials as to ability in the conduct of Pharmaceutical and analytical work.
## Salary and emoluments, and whether secured by permanent law.
Salary at the rate of £250 rising by triennial increments of £25 to £300, per annum.
Not secured by permanent law.
## Other circumstances affecting the value of the office.
Must be a single man under 27 years of age. Will be provided with furnished bachelor quarters at the Government Civil Hospital; will be required to enter into an agreement to serve 3 years. Will be provided with a 1st class passage out to the colony but if the Government find it necessary and the candidate is desirous of continuing in the service he will be permitted to continue therein subject to the usual regulations applicable to the Hong Kong civil service.
